A few items you need are:

• A flashlight and extra batteries
• A tow rope
• A first aid kit, containing: plasters, bandages of different sizes, sterile wipes, safety pins, pain medication, rubber gloves, CPR mask, tweezers, scissors, insect spray/cream, antihistamines
• Plenty of sunscreen
• A basic tool kit
• Bottles of water
• High-calorie snack foods, canned fruit, nuts, raisins and/or granola bars + Can opener
• Emergency poncho
• Roll of toilet paper
• Blanket

Additional Items to consider:

• Spare set of clothes and socks
• Reflective safety vest
• Whistle
• Disposable camera
